Lady Winter has staked her claim, it’s getting cold outside, but where else but in the fresh air can you find so many interesting things? For walks through Prague, why not get your inspiration from our up-to-date tips about less frequented places. Whether you opt for a romantic stroll through Prague’s streets and parks, or go for the broader open spaces on the outskirts, you will definitely feel better for it, body and soul.

Strolling the Streets

Street Art is ‘a thing’ these days, worldwide. Prague doesn’t lag behind, and offers a whole gamut of open-air galleries as well as artistic arrangements in shop windows. Photos, paintings, drawings and sculptures have never been so close as hand. Come and take a look. You’ll find art is alive and well! Don’t miss the ‘Following the Footsteps of the Asian Journey of Hanzelka and Zikmund’ or the ‘Alchemical Laboratorium of the Fine Arts’ exhibitions, or just enjoy contemporary art in public spaces.

Perambulating Prague’s Precincts

Who would not fall in love with our capital? Explore Prague your way, criss-crossing hither and thither. You may get your kicks from modern Karlín, be charmed by mysterious Lesser Town, or would you prefer legendary Vyšehrad? Whether you go for the more urban neighbourhoods or tree-covered Petřín, you’re sure to discover many new places.

Nature comes to town

Do you know your way around Prague’s parks and gardens? You can find over two hundred in the city. Visit Vojanovy sady, the Hvězda deerpark, Studánky (wellsprings) or the ‘Garden of Eden’. Don’t forget the Vltava Islands! You’ll find thirteen of them in today’s Prague.

Keep in mind that wherever you find yourself in a more heavily frequented area you’re advised to wear your face-mask and keep a safe distance of 1.5 meters. Many thanks.
