Man and Phone (Člověk a telefon)

The exhibition will commemorate 140th anniversary of the Alexander Graham Bell 's patent, 25 years since the Czech Republic was connected to the Internet and 20 years since mobile phones widely spread here.
A part of this exhibition will feature the history of telephones before the mobile era – exhibits will include telephones from the collection of the National Technical Museum; further there will be presented individual functions of smartphones - mobile phone as an entertaining and useful device, mobile as a camera and last but not least IoT system (Internet of Things) – internetworking of physical devices, vehicles, buildings and other items.
On the exhibition's opening day, the National Technical Museum will receive a book called 2036.Tomáš Sedláček and Guests: How We Will Live in 20 Years” which will become an inseparable part of the exhibition and which will remain in the museum for 20 years.
