The inverted theatre! An unusual interpretation of a novella by Franz Kafka!
As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect. That´s the beginning of Franz Kafka´s most famous short story, The Metamorphosis. Imagine you have a bad dream. Everoyne is having them. But you´re the only one who cannot awake... That´s the initial situation of our adaptation which is trying to find something rare in Kafka — his sense of humour. Dodo Gombar´s production is transforming not only the poor Gregor, but whole theatre — spectators are seated at the stage and actors are playing in auditorium. Come and enjoy unexpected view of Franz Kafka!
Seats capacity is limited because we have very unconventionally swapped auditorium and stage.
