The most precious exhibits will be a painting of Buddha from the 18th century or a gilded sculpture of the goddess Tara. One can look forward to church paintings, ritual items and folk religious art.
Visitors will have a chance to be acquainted with the history of Tibet and Tibetan culture from 500 BC till nowadays. There will be also information about distinguished Tibetan persons and main concepts of Tibetan culture.
A part of the event will be a photographic exhibition at the patio of the museum, offering pictures of the Czech professional photograph Josef Vajniš. These pictures were taken during his journeys in Tibet and they can boast unique ethnographic and historic value.
