THE EXPOSITION WILL BE OPEN TO PUBLIC FROM OCTOBER 2017.

Exposition of the former Rosenberg Palace will be devoted to the Czech Queen Maria Theresa. During her reign, this palace was rebuilt to house the Institute of Noblewomen and the Prague castle started to be rebuilt by the court architect N. Pacassi.

Visitors will find out more about the every day life of the queen and her family. Furthermore, there will be acquainted with some interesting details of her coronation in Prague and there will be mentioned the wars concerning her heritage. Last but not least the focus will put on her support of the church and her military, medical, jurisdiction and school reforms. There will be exposed plans relating to rebuilding of the Prague castle, furniture of that time, pictures and replicas of crown jewels. The exhibition will seek to present not only Maria Theresa to children and adults but also the time when she lived.
