Linda Sitkova studied Organ at the Prague Conservatory, at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with prof. Jan Hora and then at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart with prof. Joan Laukvik. She has been awarded prestigious prizes at international competitions in Czech Republic and abroad: She won the Opava competition in 2000, took 1st place at Mühlheim competition in 2004, received honourable mention at Prague Spring Organ Competition in 2006 and 2nd prize at the St. Albans competition (UK) in 2009, etc. Besides her regular solo concerts both in her home land and abroad she also co-operates with prestigious Czech orchestras, choirs and chamber ensembles.
