The Green Mountain Manuscript and the Queen’s Court Manuscript

Visitors will have a rare opportunity to see the originals of the well-known Bohemian "rare medieval" manuscripts of Dvur Kralove - the Queen’s Court Manuscript and Zelena hora - the Green Mountain Manuscript, which were "found" in the early 19th century but a group of scientists around Masaryk later proved that they were modern fakes.
They had an enormous influence on Czech art and literature, and the battle over their authenticity lasted through most of the 19th century.
