Exactly 24 stairs lead to the atmospheric Wallachian Beerhall, located halfway between Strahov Monastery and Prague Castle. Here they serve unpasteurized and unfiltered beers on tap from the Wallachian brewery BON.

This yeast beer from Wallachia is brewed according to the historical beer purity law of 1516, supports digestion, dilates blood vessels and helps the consumer be more resilient to stress.
The Interior of the cellar, adorned with wrought iron and solid wood in Wallachian style, completes the all pervasive characteristically Moravian regional atmosphere. A unique collection of 4,500 framed original beer labels from breweries of the Czech and Slovak Republics hangs on the walls.
The kitchens offer regional Wallachian fare – “kyselica” (cabbage and potato soup), “halušky” (potato gnocchi) and “škvarková pomazánka” (pork crackling in lard.) Also available are quality Moravian wines and Wallachian “slivovice” (plum brandy.)
Beers on offer: Starovalašská 12°- light, Weissbier 12° - light, Rubín 14° - dark. Every three months specials (such as BOCK 14°)
