Army Museum Žižkov (Armádní muzeum Žižkov)

The museum is located in historic buildings built between 1927 and 1929 at the foot of Vítkov Hill. The exhibition captures the first World War, interwar Czechoslovakia, the second World War and persecution of members of the Czechoslovak army after the coup in 1948. A special exhibition commemorates the heroism of people who took up arms to fight against a new totalitarianism.
