Art Space Řetězová 7 / HILT - black light theatre Prague

In the basement of the legendary Montmartre Café in Řetězová Street, there is a unique medieval cellar space ideal for chamber concerts, exhibitions, discussions and other events. In Art Space Řetězová 7, HILT - black light theatre Prague found it's new home stage. Traditional black and light theatre principles and techniques with elements of modern wave is what characterises this independent black light theatre group. With the use of special theatre technique based on UV effect and special colours, the actors seem to be flying, appearing and disappearing. The ensemble focuses also on shadow theatre in which film projection is combined with actor's shadow on the stage.
