Ester Geislerová: What We Should’ve Said but Didn’t

Czech visual artist Ester Geislerová returns to the original venue of her 2012 diploma exhibition, where she presented an extensive installation titled Kvíz (Quiz) in the dusty space of the abandoned Zenger Electrical Substation (now the home of Kunsthalle Praha). 

In her new exhibition, she builds on her previous work around themes such as romantic relationships, communication, and the handling of emotions and trauma. Combining elements of acting, humour, and surprise, Geislerová’s distinctive approach tirelessly questions and explores how we can communicate and mutually understand each other.
