Join us on foot or by bicycle in locations free from mass tourism, have a picnic in the park, mingle with the locals and discover places where interesting ecological or social projects are being implemented: community gardens, revitalized brownfield sites, public spaces.

Community projects

Everyone who desires to grow both crops and interpersonal relationships is welcome at Prazelenina. This is not the only story told by the volunteers of the Holešovice Community Garden. Get inspired and who knows, you might even start growing a few herbs and tomato plants in your neighbourhood.

I share, you share, we share

Discover the green corners of Prague on pink shared bikes! At first, Rekola got old bicycles from people and then serviced and painted them pink at workshops. At our events you will find out how a community project became a fully-fledged shared micromobility service. If you're more of a fan of forgotten places and urbex, you can hop on a BeRider shared scooter and ride through the bohemian quarter of Žižkov.

Green roofs and sustainable architecture

Did you know that we have a lot of buildings in Prague with green façades, trees on the roof or their own wetlands? Slowly but surely, architecture is responding to current demands, as you can see right in the city centre, for example with the DRN building, or on the roof of the Visionary office building in Holešovice, which boasts the only rooftop running track in Central Europe.  Follow the Pragensia Viva programme; we enjoy green architecture and are happy to share our knowledge of it.
