The Legiotrain is a project of the Czechoslovak Legionnaire Community, which commemorates the 100th anniversary from the WW1 operations. Legiotrain is a mobile replica of legionaries’ trains from the echelon war period on the Trans Siberian Railway, featuring 12 wagons. The train slightly resembles a barrack because sometimes the legionaries must have fought with Bolsheviks in order to pass through the country.

Visitors can see an accommodation wagon, a military mail, a rescue wagon or a blacksmith one. An armoured vehicle equipped with machine-guns, a headquarters wagon, platform wagons with material or an armoured Austin car will be there too in order to illustrate legionaries’ military tactic.

A staff, wearing uniforms, will guide visitors and help them to find their predecessors – legionaries.

The train will ride across the cities and towns in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
