For the first time, the Arcade Fire will perform in the Czech Republic. They are going to stop in O2 Arena on June 15, 2018 with their new album Everything Now, which was released in summer 2017. The audience awaits an interesting show, during which they will present also their older successful songs.
The Arcade Fire formed in Montreal in 2001 and the original line-up included Régine Chassagne and Win Butler, his younger brother William, Richard Parry and Tim Kingsbury. They have been influenced by many music styles; sometimes their songs feature rock, punk, pop, bossa nova or chanson elements.
The Arcade Fire have released 5 studio albums. Their debut one, Funeral, was nominated for the Grammy in the category The Best Alternative Album. It was followed by the albums Neon Bible (2007), The Suburbs (2009), Reflector (2013) and Everything Now (June 2017). While working on this album they cooperated with Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), Steve Mackey (Pulp) or Geoff Barrow (Portishead), for which they were praised by not just their fans but by critics too.
The Arcade Fire have sold millions of albums and singles, they have received many prestigious awards (incl. Grammy or Brit Award).
