A documentation of the unique exhibition at Prague Castle in 1996.
Anyone who visits the Prague Castle may encounter the mythical Bull Staircase, balustrades and porches or an obelisk that all date from the 1920s. They were designed by Josip Plecnik, the architect who was asked by Tomas Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia, to restore the Castle as a symbol of independence and democracy.
In Prague, Plecnik designed also the Church of the Sacred Heart in Vinohrady, featuring Egyptian and early Christian architectural elements.
