Idea de una pasión

Mexico, the amazing land of the Aztecs, the Maya, the Toltecs and other Indian civilisations.
Mexico, a country where violence seems to be an inherent part of life nowadays. Death as a daily bread, funeral music merging with that of feasts and weddings, a macho at every corner. The authors of “The Idea of Passion” build up the shards of this tragic comedy in nostalgic music sets of the post-war era, all of that with rigour, meticulousness and a light touch on top. Their major inspiration the Argentinian painter Guillermo Kuitca with his seven characters and… the death. A piece to entice you to a different world, a fantasy world of postmodern crime weaved of humour and irony.
