Naama Gheber, originally from Israel, lives and works in NYC. A New School for Jazz graduate, she leads her band through performances in legendary jazz clubs in NYC such as Smalls Jazz Club, Fat Cat Jazz and Cornelia Street Cafe. Gheber sings the music of the 30's and 40's, written by the great composers Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and many others, with an elegant voice, sensitive interpretation and crisp phrasing. Inspired by influential jazz vocalists of those years ( Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Nat King Cole...), Gheber is dedicated to tell the story of an elegant, urbane era in NYC, luring her audience into a timeless experience.
