A grand ensemble embodying and expressing what one calls the Russian classical ballet – that means elegance, perfect technique, the mysterious Russian spirit, stunning costumes and decorations.

St. Petersburg Festival Ballet is going to perform two pearls of world classic in Prague:

  • December 11 Nutcracker — a two-act-ballet, with music composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

  • December 12 Swan Lake — a two-act-ballet, with music composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

Once more again, audience will enter a world full of beauty and romance; they will go with the heroes through love and death, laughter and tears, fear and courage; they will experience loyalty and betrayal. Everything what is related to world culture and world heritage will be in front of them.

St. Petersburg is a cradle of Russian ballet, a city, which captivates every maestro with its unique Russian spirit. The word „festival“ is derived from the word „festive“ – which is a quality that every performance of this ensemble features. One should not certainly interpret what „ballet“ means.

The ensemble has toured with success across USA, Italy, Germany France, Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Portugal, China, Brazil, Mexico and other countries.
