Prague Fringe 2019
- Fri 24. 5. 2019 – Sat 1. 6. 2019
A heady mix of theatre, comedy, music, dance, storytelling and good times (in English) at venues across Lesser Town - the annual Fringe Festival extravaganza is an experience you will never forget. Taking place annually in May, Prague Fringe is a nine-day performance festival showcasing the work of hundreds of artists from all over the globe in a variety of traditional, and some not-so-traditional(!), venues in the historical centre of one of the world's most beautiful cities.
Each year over 200 performances of around 40 different shows are on offer, running from late afternoon into the night.
The festival has the origin in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1947 and to this day remains the largest art festival in the world. Its Prague “mischievous grandchild” is known amongst the performers and audiences for its friendly, happy and intimate atmosphere.
