Karel Malich has no doubts. He discovered and he portrayed. The majority will never understand it, but one can still hope. After all, birdsong, the fragrance of flowers, light, energy, and sound – these are things we all love (or at least one would think so). Malich’s architectonic visions of the 1960s presaged the development of what are now the celebrated forms of architecture that are the foundations for the future. This is only one of the reasons why Malich’s works continue to enjoy growing international attention even today.
Presenting the artist’s creative period from 1963 to 2016, this exhibition is an opportunity for many to catch a glimpse of that which Karel Malich personally communicated through metal, plastic, and wood: “I saw it.”
