The United Islands of Prague is a popular multi-genre open-air festival held in vibrant Karlín district. The festival focuses on young talented musicians and singers, who are supported by a few foreign and domestic stars. Organisers prepare also creative activities for children and adults. Admission is, as always, free.

This year the festival will commemorate the 30th anniversary from the fall of the Iron Curtain, hence its guests are from Poland, Germany (The Deadnotes) Hungary (Saverne, Gustave Tiger), Slovakia (From Our Hands, Walter Schnitzelsson), Ukraine (Sasha Bool). The local scene is represented by The Atavists, Adam Krofián, Purplefox Town. The headliner is Trupa Trupa from Poland.

Czech and German street artists will decorate a „Freedom Wall” expressing their views on the state of democracy in the war. Visitors are invited to take a selfie in front of a special photo corner which will resemble what Wenceslas Square looked like in November 1989 or in a retro teenage room.
