Statue of Albrecht of Wallenstein (Socha Albrechta z Valdštejna)
One of the courtyards of the Wallenstein Palace is embellished with a statue of its builder – the duke of Frýdlant, warlord and one of the most important figures in the Thirty Years’ War - Albrecht of Wallenstein. The statute was designed by Ludvík Šimek, who created a thirty-centimetre model some time before the year 1870. The author of the 300 kg bronze cast, which is almost 2 metres high with the pedestal, is Petr Dvořák.
