Mladota Palace (Faust House) (Mladotovský palác (Faustův dům)

The palace is better known as the Faust House, according to the mysterious legend about Doctor Faust, who sold his soul to the devil. The legend, dating back to the Romantic Period, most likely originated from the fact that several owners of the building engaged in alchemy and natural sciences. The most important of these was Edward Kelley, court alchemist to Emperor Rudolf II.
